This week it has been pretty easy for me. I have been relaxing, sitting back and enjoying watching Life of Pi. The year 5’s have been doing naplan so we got to relax as both year 6’s and 5’s are in the same building. We occasionally did some work. When we did do our work I worked really hard. My goal from last week was to read more and I have done so. We had to do a movie review on the movie Life of Pi and I thought I worked really well and listened to the movie and put some thought into my work. We also in the morning worked with our buddies. The first session my buddie wasn’t there due to being sick, so I worked with one of Emma Quinn’s buddie. Together we made a book on the ipad. On the second day my buddie was there and together we made a book about her. On the last day with my buddie, it didn’t turn out to be so good as my buddie yelled at me for sitting on the chair so I waited an hour for my buddie to apologize. My overall week has been awesome, fun and a week I won’t have in ages.
Last week I thought I did really well in concentrating in class and not messing around. I thought that in maths I could’ve chosen a different topic to make a workshop on. I think that I chose the easy way to only learn a little bit about worded problems but I could’ve challenged myself to learn about fractions as I have alot of areas in maths that I need to learn and improve in. I also think that I did really well in writing and producing a good piece of writing. I really concentrated and persisted to make it one of the best pieces of writing I can produce. I put alot of thought and emotions into my writing and I felt that I was in the moment of the event. In R.E, I thought that I need to put my hand up a little more and share what I’m thinking. Also if I need some help and don’t understand what the teachers are saying, I need to put my hand up so that they can tell me what it means more clear. Overall I think I had a great week and I hope that next week I can improve on what I wanted to do.
Orang-utans– Wow! These creatures are amazing to watch. They are cute and fluffy. It’s pretty amazing in what they can do. 97% of their DNA is exactly like ours. They swing from vine to vine like Tarzan. Their eyes look at you friendly and it looks like they are your family. They are so smart and intelligent; I think they have the same brain as me. I love these creatures and I want them to live life like they should and not have their habitats destroyed.
Onesies- These fluffy jumpsuits they are irresistible. You just want to cuddle up on a cold winter’s night and not be cold. They are so handy; you can wear them to a jungle party, to bed and even on a jumping castle. I have a onesie and I know that if you don’t have one then get one because I love onesies and if I’m cold I have one sitting right in my wardrobe.
House Husbands– This is a funny, sad, happy comedy that you would love. I have watched every episode from Cane losing a teacher to someone adopting a child. I have cried at times but it is unexplainable of how happy some moments in the series have been. The characters are very strong at acting and really draw you into the series.
Nerds– These hilarious people show their inner self. They are not afraid of being who they are. I don’t love them but I just like them for who they are. They are smart intelligent people that know a lot about science etc. I find it really funny when you compare them to dumb beauty people.
Instagram- How can I begin to explain instagram. It is a social app that helps you connect to other people. It is very addictive!!! I like to see what people get up to especially if you have friends from other states for example my friend from Perth we share our photos to each other. You can also find out about celebs and their gossip.
Reading- The peaceful sound of the birds chirping. Calm, relaxed thinking of what the word means. It is sad, tears running down my cheeks. I have been reading for hours now. I could feel myself in the moment of the book. Imagining what it would be like to be them.
Fish n Chips- Crunch…… The scrumptious taste of the light battered fish is irresistible. The chicken salted chips, warm and tasty melting in my mouth. I love this type of food because it is a little treat I have once in a while. I usually take the news papered wrapped fish n chips down to the beach and eat them as a family. I sneakily throw a couple of the warm salty chips to the hungry seagulls.
Music- Boom….Boom……Boom… the thumping sound of the rock music pumping throw my ears. My mum telling me to turn it down but I just love the sound. I just love listening to music on the long drive down to Melbourne. It always seems to keep me busy. I love all types of music because it keeps me UN bored and keeps me happy!
Hockey– I love the way I hit the ball with such strength and power. I feel even better when I score a goal. It is a fast game and a good way to get fit. It helps you to earn confidence and to not be afraid of the ball. Also since my experience of playing hockey I have made a numerous amount of friends.
Family- I absolutely LOVE my awesome, fun, friendly family. They keep me company when I am down and always seems to put a smile on my dial. We may have our fights and disagreements but we move on from them and forget the past. We always take time to watch our hobbies (e.g hockey, cooking, board games, gym and work). I LOVE my family and no one can bet our family.

I was running along the slippery muddy path in a fast motion through the tropical forest when I came to a dead end. A sign had written that I must discover the forests secrets. My sister Holly was walking slowly along the path and was unable to keep up with me. I decided to go ahead and make the decision myself. I didn’t go right I went left to where there was no path. I am going on my own adventure. I imagined that ahead of me would be a million fairies all on a mission to collect some little kid’s teeth. Oh how I wished I had a wobbly tooth! I could hear my sister calling out my name. But I didn’t turn around I kept walking at a fast pace so that she would not catch up with me. It was very bushy; there was long trees as high as a monster. As I started to hurry up I came to another dead end. At the dead end there was a hollow tree that was really deep under the ground. There was a fortune cookie that said ‘eat me’! I placed it in my palm and slowly brought my hand to my mouth and took a bight from the cookie. “Ah my tooth, it came out, YES!” I yelled happily. I could feel something in my mouth. I clamped my hand in my mouth and grabbed this slobbery, slippery piece of paper. I laid it in my hand and rolled it out carefully. It said: Go down this hollow tree and you will discover a new magnificent world. I was desperate to go discover this world. I glanced down at my watch and checked the time. It was 10:47; it has taken my 20 minutes to get to this point, WOW! My sister would be worried now; she would be panicking by now. Ok, I’ll turn around and not come back, I thought. Tears were rushing down my face, I had a second thought maybe I don’t have to crush my dreams, maybe I could go on this adventure for 5 minutes then sprint back to my worried sister. I kneeled down onto my knees and crawled through the brown squashy mud. My legs were now smothered in yucky mud. I grabbed onto the wooden ladder that lead to the end of the tree and slowly stepped down each step. It got darker and darker by the minute and soon enough I was unable to see anything. I took the last step which was the end of the tree and cautiously looked around. Soon enough a little light shined on me. Then all of a sudden a million fairies gushed down the trunk of the tree towards me. I was scared but all of a sudden they stopped at the tip of my head. “Hello Stranger” the fairies exclaimed. “What has brought you here?” they all wondered. “Well I’m on an adventure and I thought that I could drop by and give you my tooth, I lost it as I was eating that very hard fortune cookie.” “Haha, did you ever bump into the troll?” “No I didn’t, luckily!” “Ur well I just wanted to meet a fairy and I have so goodbye. Maybe another time I could come and visit you and bring my sister with me!” I exclaimed with a big grin. “Ok nice to meet you stranger. We can’t wait to meet you again and maybe we could introduce you to the other magical creatures!” So as I ran back to my worried sister to where she was sitting next to the sign I once ran into and she was sitting there crying saying “Please God, can my sister come back home, I love her!”
“why did you lie?”, yelled mum. “I didn’t mean to steal the necklace. It was an accident”, I replied crying. “Can you please recap what happened”, mum asked.

“I need to get back at her Stevie; she stole my toy car so i’m going to steal her necklace”, I said with a big grin on my face.” Here’s the plan, i will distract her then you go open her locker, the code is: 5, 15,25 then 0.””Coolio, go distract her now then”, I said rushing Stevie.
“So hey Holly, um what did you do on the um weekend?” “Nothing Stevie, well I need to go to class, Bye!”, Holly said sweetly. As holly walked off Stevie was overjoyed that she had left.
“Have you got it”, Stevie asked. “Of course I have, it’s made out of real gold so she’ll be extra worried now”. “ where are you putting it?” Stevie asked. “ um in my pocket, it won’t get lost in there” . “Ok” Stevie said unsure.
“Oh #*!*^” I said. “What is it” mum wondered.”I lost my new necklace I bought for um…… um ………um my friend”, I said lying. “Well that’s just bad luck isn’t it”, Mum exclaimed, unhelpful. “What does it look like?” “Um well its real gold, shaped as a love heart and shiny as a spoon” I exclaimed. “I’ll have a look for it, if I see it I will give it to you, ok!”
“Hey Mack, I think I found the necklace!” “Really cool, let me see it!” “It is a little squashed”. “What do you mean?” I wondered. “OMG what happened?” “I found it in the back of the washing machine”. Tears started rolling down my cheeks.
“Mack, Holly’s here” “What…….. NO! NO! NO! NO!” “Hey Mack, please sit down, I have something to confess, I broke your toy car by accident!” Holly confessed. “Well I broke your necklace, accidently as well” I said annoyed. “Why, how, when?” Holly yelled. “Hey you two cut it out” Mum yelled. “What happened?” she wondered. “Nothing” we both said immediately.
“What happened yesterday,” Mum asked. “I accidently broke Holly’s necklace”, I confessed. “You naughty boy, GO to your room right now, I will ring up Cathy and apologise about the incident” “But Mum!!!” I yelled.
